Hi, I'm new to watchmaking and this forum plus this is my first post so please bare with me if I'm somehow messed it up (I tried to leave an introduction but the website wouldn't let me so I'm probably already doing something wrong).

I was wondering if anybody knows the thread size on the Bergeon 6935 watch hand press tips (see below). They look about M3 at a guess but I'd like to know before I order a few.

I've recently brought an old Horia watch hand pressing tool (see below) which is really well built so I'm well pleased with it however it only has 2 sizes of tips one being Ø2.0 x Ø1.0mm and the other Ø2.3 x Ø1.2mm

I've therefore also got hold of some high tolerance 6mm round steel rod (see above image) which fits perfectly in the pusher holes with zero sideways slop. I'm going to order some threaded sleeve rods (see below) and epoxy them to the ends of the pieces of 6mm rod so I need to know what the thread diameter of the pushers are.

I was thinking about ordering 3 additional tips, the sizes being a solid Ø1.5mm, Ø2.60 x Ø1.60mm and Ø1.70 x Ø0.60mm

I was hoping but adding the 3 above sizes I'd have all my bases covered (for wristwatches) but like I said I'm new to this so any advice would be much appreciated

Many thanks in advance,

Richard
