I've never seen one like this. It is almost completely invisible on my bench, and it's extremely difficult to tell top from bottom.

@ManSkirtBrew don't go criticising my beloved Longines ! 

On my recently serviced 30L, the balance cap jewels were completely clear. I had one hell of a job finding them when I'd dropped them in to a pot of IPA. So I decided I needed to change them for the usual red colour. 

Are those cap jewels on the pallet?  It doesn't look round in the top pic.

No, it's the lower balance jewel. It's a weird reflection that makes it look geometric.
