Greetings!

My first post here and hope i'm posting at the right place for seeking help.

I have Victorinox Swiss Army automatic watch, was given to me as a gift about a month ago.  it ran fine for several weeks, but then its day/date calendar on 12 and 6 o'clock positions began to become misaligned.  The day indicator stops between two adjacent days and date looks to be not centered as well.

I believe it's called Ambassador series (model number 249072), and comes with ETA 2834-2 movement,

Not sure what might have caused this, I didn't accidently drop it or knock it on some hard surface,  is this fixable without resorting to a professional repair service?

one picture shows when i first got it, the other shows its current state

Can be due to friction  or wear in day/date mech.

Would it change right ( eventually) or  when hr/min hands are advanced through the crown manually ?

A clean & lube might/ might not fix it, if didn't , spotting the fault is work of experienced hands.

Rgds

might try to manually adjust the day and date in the second stem position-might free something up, don't do it between 6pm and 12pm to be safe, if doesn't help Nucejoe might have the right idea...
