Trying to get this watch started. Installed new battery but I am not sure if I have to jump atart it.  Case back says LWL 184 C but cannot find any reference.

Can anyone identify this China movement ?

Thanks, Dave

Evening Dave,

It looks like you've got a little battery leakage going on there. Was it sitting around for a while?

Do you have a picture of the case back?

Some digitals I've had, I've had to press one of the buttons for it to spring to life.

usually on digital watches or complicated analog watches there is a reset procedure. this is because though typically power up in the some random place and setting could be problematic if not impossible. There's usually always a reset procedure lot at times is a hardware reset procedure where you short a contact on the backside usually to the ground of the watch it would be marked like in the image below.

Thanks guys. I saw that AC terminal and I was not sure if you jump to battery +.  Got a flea market lot from my grandson. So far I got three working with new batterys.

Sorry for calling this a movement.

Dave
