Hi there, I received a Seiko to refurbish in a very poor condition. The case was from a 6309, but the movement was a 6349. The dial feet were sheared off and the dial glued in place. However, I was very pleased to see that with the exception of a few additional jewles the movements were almost identical... Almost!

Once I refurbished the case amd movement and came to casing up the watch the reality hit me that the 6349 is a 3 O'clock pendant position but the 6309 is a 4 O'clock pendant position. Now the day/date are not aligned with the window at the 4 O'clock position.

My question is: if I replace the 6349 day/date cards with donor 6309 cards will they now line up at the 4 O'clock position? Its an expensive experiment to perform if I am wrong, hence seeing if anyone here has come across this?
