Drying a quartz movement

Hello all. 

For those of you of a sensitive disposition, please stop reading.  My daughter bought a lucky lucky Rolex in Turkey, she was assured it was waterproof, yes I know bloody kids. When worn the crystal mists up, it's still running, what's the best of drying it.

Hi Richard. The method I have used in the past is to remove the movement and battery place on a tissue under a raised cover and stand in the sun or gentle heat.  Remove all traces of moisture from the case and blow dry

He wasn't very lucky for your daughter, if its anything like the one i had it will eat through batteries. You must have a nice mechanical watch for your little girl surely.

Plenty but try explaining quality over substance is sometimes impossible.  It says Rolex on the dial. Aaaargh.
