I just listened to a science podcast re: super volcanoes, and it specifically touched on Yellowstone. The geologist/seismologist/whatever you call the specialist said concerns about Yellowstone blowing its lid are beyond overblown, and we'd have decades of warning. It was an hour long podcast, and I've been listening to it in fits and spurts as I drive with a 3yo behind me serenading her favorite stuffed animal, so I can't recount all the whys and whatfors, but I was left continuing to feel like there's nothing to be worried about. It's still one of those things that often comes up as being a disaster in waiting. I wonder if this might not be along those same lines?

Me neither. "Hotair.com" doesn't inspire a ton of confidence though, and neither do the citations (Daily Beast, YouTube, and hotair.com). If I lived in that part of the world, I'm sure I'd want to become an expert though!
