Greetings everyone,

I recently purchased this nice-looking watch but I'm having trouble finding a replacement bezel for it. I would like to restore it to its original condition.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find a replacement bezel or have one available for sale?

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Unfortunately there not available anymore.  Unless anyone can tell you differently, you need to troll ebay and hopefully get lucky.

The crystal is also discontinued, you need to measure the existing one and find a generic replacement.

Yeah, did that but could not find anything alike. At the top of the dome the original crystal has a sharp angle, where as any generic replacement has a smooth curve.

I was mainly looking on cousinsuk... Are there any other places?

Well, two week in a I guess I got lucky and found a replacement bezel. With the crystal - no luck... Will pick something that fits and look nice with the watch.

Now the dial. Its like new. So that's good. But the lume fades quite quickly. So at what point one would want to re-lume the dial? Or does it make sense to keep it fully original?

If the lume is not flaking off, leave well alone. Preserve the vintage character and enjoy it for what it is.

That has come up really nice! A bit big for my puny wrists, or I'd be tempted to get one of my own.

Thank you. But I think I want to redo the top brush finish... But yeah looks very nice. Now I'm afraid to ware it now. Also I guess I was lucky to find a nearly new bezel.

About the size. I would say that it's not that big actually. Well depends what you compare it with.  😃

Thats turned out really nice 2k. What was the crack with the crystal in the end ?

Endless nights of search and research. Could not find an original one (the shape is quite specific), so then bought a hand full and picked the one that fits/looks the best, in my opinion. I chose this one: XAC 301.640 Sternkreuz.
