Please help identify the movement in my GSTP pocketwatch

Recommended Posts

Good evening all

I've got an GSTP pocketwatch that I need to find some spare parts for.

I've got two, the first I successfully identified as an FHF 2144 and have repaired, but this one I can't find a maker insignia on.  There's a 431 stamp, and upon googling it seems theres a few makers of this movement.

I bought this watch as spares/repairs to have a go at watchmaking with, it was stated as balance broken.  Upon stripping and cleaning, it would seem the balance is fine, the jewel that the balance sits on that screws to the main movement has been damaged.  The screw doesn't hold the jewel holder (?) into the movement and it seems the jewel is damaged as theres bits of it in the hole, or were.  Also the mainspring barrel has a broken screw in it, so I need a new mainspring barrel or spring assembly.  Lastly I'm missing a crown and winding wheel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

Incase anyone else comes across the same pocket watch, it would appear this is a Record 431 movement.  If I still had the missing wheels then likely it would say so on one of them. Here's some pics I found of it with some googlefu.
