Do you think this kind of model would be convenient?

I own one.  I do not use it for watch movements, however.  I use it for clock movements, watch cases, and tool cleanup.  I have had it for over a year and am still happy with it.  The bowl stains a bit, but does not affect functionality.

I dont see why it would not work fine for watches although, it is overly large for them.  I use a L&R Master (spinning) for watch work.

I use the smaller one for cleaning movements.

The parts go in a jar filled with cleaning fluid, the ultrasonic is filled with water, then I run the jars in the machine for five minutes.
