G'day!

Hello everyone, new member here from the land down under!

I'm brand new to watchmaking/repair, but not new to tinkering. I've been bitten by the bug and have decided it's time to make a start and see if this hobby really is for me. I'm just waiting for my collection of new tools to turn up, as well as some cheap and cheerful vintage watches to start practising with.

In the mail are a couple of "eBay special" seiko 5 frankenwatches (both 7009's), a WWII era Oris 292 in questionable condition, a new-ish Rotary skeleton with a HZ movement based on I believe a Seiko 7002, and a vintage ladies Rotary of unknown caliber.

I've been reading through this forum on and off for the last couple of months as I've been learning more about watch repair, and am looking forward to joining this community of super knowledgeable people.

So, g'day! You'll undoubtedly find me in the forum soon enough asking a lot of beginner questions.

~Ross
