Hi!

I am working on this movement Bulova 10AK CSH (center sweep hack I believe) but couldn’t realize how the hack system works. I am convinced the thin metal linked to the extended center pivot is the key but it doesn’t have a move part.

What you think of being a hack lever is just a spring providing friction to the central seconds pivot. It prevents the seconds hand from moving erraticly.

Perfect, I just noticed the hack lever this afternoon. Thank you! Now I need to get a new balance staff to finish the project
