Is This A Split Stem?

Recommended Posts

I've been doing a 1970 Oris Chronoris up that I bought wit, amogst other things, a missing minute wheel crown. I bought an Oris branded one from Cousins and relaised there was something amiss with the stem. I had a look and teh picture is as below. The stem hasn't snapped in anyway I can see it was made with that taper so my question is what type of split stem woulld fit that? You can see the winding wheel with the stub that protrudes into the tube, it can't physically fit in the otherway around but all the split stems I've seen are like a ball and socket affair. This has no flats on it. Can anyone offer any advice? Information on this watch seems really very sparse.

It's an Oris 725. Generic image below, the crown I'm having issue with it the highest, knurled on. You can see the winding wheel below it. I have a parts sheet which I've attached and the above part is 1442, you can make out that the part hasn't snapped if you zoom in on the general shape of it but I can't see anyting else that says stem or similar. The watch has a winding stem, a chrono pusher and a minute wheel/crown so there is the winding stem and no more.
