Mainspring Sizing (Size)

Hi All,

 

I have questions about sizing a mainspring and the sizes on the package. I need to find a couple of them for a Marvin 310) and a Wittnauer. Looks like Cousins sells the Marvin listed as a 1.50x.07x.280x7? And with my limited knowledge I have no idea what all that is or means. From limited research I am guessing 1.5 mm in width? Not certain about the rest. Any thoughts or direction in learning to read these?

 1.5 width, .07 thickness, 280 length or strength. Be sure the end is correct i.e. hook, hole, or T.

Looking at the package I think the two measurements and then the length was throwing me. After attempting the math I see the correlation. Thanks again!
