Fortis On Ebay...4 Hours Left.

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the heads up Craig.

As it happens, I'm already watching it but I have my reservations.

First off from a styling point of view it's not quite my thing and probably wouldn't get a lot of wrist time so doesn't meet my "would I wear it?" criteria.

Also, I reckon in the closing minutes it's going to have a bit more interest and I wouldn't be too surprised if it went for over £20. Still a very good price for a Fortis, but not quite the bargain it is at the moment.

The movement is puzzling me a little. It looks like a ST96 or ST97 but the click seems to be missing. That wouldn't be too much of a problem in its self except that the area of the barrel bridge where it should be doesn't  look right either.

The jury is still out on this one.

Am I going mad - there does not even seem to be a screw hole for the click on the Fortis or Blacklab's link. I'm looking at one of my ST96 scrappers and it's got the click removed and the hole is there

£17 - seriously?!?!

OK, as BlackLab says, it looks like the N version has a different click. I did the same as you Mark and checked both an ST96 and an ST97 that I have in my bits box. You live and learn :-)

Still a bit pricey.

welcome to the forum arcus :)
