Hi everyone i have changed a good few of these stack battery watches over the years with no issues. I got this cheap from a well known auction site for a quick flip but this one is a little different, the analog part has stopped normally an easy fix as battery under the 3v. This one had only a battery sized hole under with clear plastic over it and no battery. I have cut the plastic and tried a cell both ways in the hole. I dont see any + for the battery short.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Wether its the photo quality but it looks kind of grubby in the hatch and the does not appear to be a negative terminal. Or a retainer for the posative either.  all the analogue/digital watches I have changed batteries on, the analogue battery goes in posative uppermost.  Does the module have any identifying marks or numbers.        cheers.
