Only because it is Elvis am I trying to get this in working order.  movement works and it will play the sound. The pin which acts as the switch when the case pops open is badly bent. I have managed to get it a little better but, the contact is not always making. Will use the multi-meter to see where the circuit breaks.

well I have the sound working fine when the front case is opened. But, sometimes when I close the case the music still plays. 

Looks like the pin does not have much pushing it down. so maybe I'll add a smart bit of metal to the area that presses it down.
