Congratulations clockboy, it looks good!

Hopefully, this coming year I'll start with of the heavy hardware myself (lathe, Jacob, etc.)

Cheers,

Excellent Clock boy.

I was looking at that one myself along with a few others. About an hour ago I bought this one:-

Reminds me of the film............."The Day of the Jacot"

It,s just another piece of the jigsaw to better watch repair. I have been polishing pivots etc on my lathe but anything smaller than pocket watch size I found troublesome to say the least. The Jacot should give me more control when working on the small delicate parts.

Mine arrived today, it is made by George Jacob and came complete with bow and perfect lanterns. There was also a spare set of new lanterns in the small metal box. The tool looks like it has never been used, all it requires is a gentle polish and it will look like new. The total cost including delivery from Germany £95, I'm well pleased.

Sorry Geo I have had other matters on my mind. Yes, very good apart from one of the thin carriers not the latterns is broken but the rest of it is in great condition and for the price it is a really good purchase.
