Hello Everyone,

I have just joined to try to sort out an amateur-ish mistake.

I have a Perpetual Calendar watch and a little Chinese chap was recommended to me as the guy who replaces watch batteries.

So, the upshot is that he removed the back. Removed the battery. A piece of black plastic with all sorts of black shapes attached to a black ring also was removed.

So I now have all these pieces PLUS a very thin item which looks like a washer, maybe from the screw-in back or the place where it screws into.

Would someone please give me instructions how to replace the pieces correctly. Especially the black ring with all the shapes - I don't know if it is solid ring uppermost or downwards.

I know that the black small arrow on ther white wrap-around points to the handle/winder and the full white cover that has a clear rectangular hole faces the mechanism.

There doesn't seem to have been any damage to any parts exposed like the 'coil' or 'pieces' around the sides.

If required, I will take photos and try to attach them. But being a little past my sell-by date and inexperienced in matters "watch"I thought a visit here would be the best starting-off point!

Thank you,

Regards,

Colin
