Heuer Super Autavia dash chrono bezel removal

I managed to score an absolutely lovely Heuer Super Autavia at auction this week. It is in great nick and the Valjoux 5 movement is singing, but there is one problem. The chrono resets erratically. I've checked the movement and the cam action is fine and consistent, so pretty certain it is the elapsed second hand slipping. To get to this, I need to remove the bezel and crystal. Does anyone know if these are simply a pop of like many others of the period? I want to be sure before I try?

They are just push fit so it should pop off,

I thought that was probably the case, but am very keen not to bugger up the mint bezel. Cheers.
