Hello everyone.

I’ve an old Bergeon 5285 Staking tool that I picked up a while ago. Some of the holes in the circular rotating Anvil part of the tool are partially obstructed. I’ve started the process of clearing these out with a set of micro drill bits, most the debris that’s coming out  looks to be dirt and fluff from, I’d imagine the type of wadding used with Brasso.

To make the task easier, I’d to take the Anvil off the staking tool, continue using the micro drills and, if that fails, put the Anvil into my little domestic ultrasonic cleaner.

Anyone know if the Anvil can be easily removed from the tool?

Is it just a case of unscrewing the locking lever all the way out?
