Dial Painting And Creation

I hope I have posted this in the right forum.

 

I am very keen to start creating my own watch dials. I understand the cutting and dial feet part of the equation, but would love some advice re painting versus silk screen or hand painting.

I am struggling to find any resources to help. only a few unhelpful videos on Youtube.

Does anyone have experience of dial making?

Would love to learn.
