2836-2 Clone. Where To Buy One In The Uk?

Hi,

I've got a a watch (Speedbird II from UK maker Timefactors) where I would like to swap the 2836-2 movement for a cheap clone. Where can I find such a thing (ideally in the UK). I've tried eBay but could not find anything.

On a separate note, can a 2836-2 be replaced by a 2824-2 movement if the day function is not required? Are the dimension identical?

Yes they are, the 2836-2 is a 2824-2 without the day! Same 2801 family of movements.

Try searching Helenarou. They carry the Hangzhou 6460 GMT which I believe is a clone version of the eta 2836.

There is the Seagull 2130 which is a clone to the 2824-2 . Sellita SW200,Peacook SL 3000 and TC 2824-2 chinese movement . 

You can use the 2824-2 clones instead of the 2836-2 if you don't use the day function . I think Cousinsuk has the Seagull 2130?
