Welcome to the forum.

Can you post some photos showing the back along with some side views.

Edit

Just realised it's an Automatic so doesn't have a battery.

It needs movement or possibly winding with the crown (depending on the movement inside) to work.

Oh so that is why it is gyromatic so if I don’t move it every once in a while it turns off? That seems a tad bit redundant but kinda cool thanks so much

Try winding with the crown.

That will teach me to read the post properly.

Let's see the dial.

I expect you should be able to wind it by hand with the crown and then when wearing it the 'gyromatic' part keeps it topped up, for want of a better phrase.

A very common "Automatic" mechanical watch movement; they have a weight that swings around while the watch is being worn, and keeps it wound from your arm movements as long as you wear it enough.

Other than than that, just wind it normally before using it, if you only wear it on rare occasions.

You can get automatic watch wider stands that keep them permanently wound, if you prefer; example on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Automatic-Watch-Winder-Box-Single/dp/B0B5Z7CX24/ref=asc_df_B0B5Z7CX24

This is the same or similar to your watch:

Need to search for the calib NO.

Give it some wind and check the frequency on TG, Greard Preguaux put some 36000 bph in there watches , developed the 36000 beater  in colaboration with zodiac and enerhart Fortis  & bunch of other guys.

If this is a 36000 beater its collectable, the first 36000 beater built, as the higher the beat the more accurate is the piece and Definately a keeper.
