The timegrapher shows a stable reading, yet the watch does not run under normal conditions.

Hello,

I recently completed the overhaul and reassembly of the watch without any noticeable issues. Time setting, date window change, and the movement of the seconds hand were all functioning properly.

However, after some time, I noticed that the minute hand intermittently stops and then resumes moving. In your opinion, where might the problem be?

I suspect that the issue could be related to the cannon pinion, possibly due to insufficient friction after reassembly. Could this be the cause, or should I also consider checking the third wheel?

What is the movement?  Did you fit a dial washer ?

movement is a Longines cal. 6651. I’ll check if the dial washer is fitted right away. I appreciate your reminder

I completely overlooked such a basic detail.

When this has happened to me, most of the times was due to a loose canon pinion.

As it has a cover over the date works, it probably doesn't need one. Most likely the canon pinion them.
