So, I have spent a number of hours now trying to find out what this movement is. I can't find any identification marks but these are things I believe to be true.

1. I'd put it as 20th Century, around 1920-1930 but it could be pre WW1

2. It's a pocket watch movement and the case is not original

3. It is 15 jewels, Swiss lever with a flat hairspring (i.e. it is not Breguet)

4. I don't believe this dial belongs to the watch as the feet have been cut off (looking more and more like a fake trench watch)

5. My guess is the movement is Swiss. This is based on the train bridge shape and the overall design. It has characteristics of W&D or Aegler but I think it is something else.

While we’re waiting for the keyless I will take a moment to admire that click spring….👍🏻 A Schild and Arogno did them like that for their trenchies…could it be?

Langendorf has clicks that look exactly like this too, and used the same bridge layout but I don't see a movement that has both this bridge layout and this click.
