I fit them and let them charge naturally in the watch , that way it checks the watches charging system, ok it takes a bit of time but at least you know everything is ok

As has been said, it should already have charge. They normally come with approximately six months of charge, I think. It's common to fit a new capacitor in a kinetic watch and have it fail a few months down the line because actually, the charging mechanism isn't working properly and it actually needs a service, so I've always avoided kinetics. Solar watches are usually fine though.

Forgot to say it is in a solar watch, I was just reading the packing slip that I got and it stated it might need charging. I will try the natural way. Thanks
