I'm working on an old pocket watch, and I lost the small bolt that is pushed into the hole of the stud to attach the hair spring. Has this part a specific name, and can this be sourced generically? Are there assortments of these parts, or do I need to look for the exact piece? Thanks Stephan

Thank you very much for your tips @nevenbekriev. When I broke these, I was grasping them with steel tweezers parallel to the fork slot, grasping them on the top and bottom of the stone. I do want to learn this procedure for to be successful on old watches, and I will practice when I have more spares and supplies.

You need to bring the pad to the dial, that way you've got more control on how much pressure you apply.
