I've been buying watches willy-nilly on ebay and I bought a Benrus CE14 that I was hoping was an alarm watch. It appears that the long "odd" hand is a date hand that I didn't clearly see on the pictures.

In any case, the watch was very dirty and the winding stem was broken off and quite rusty. I think ranfft.org lists the stem as a W1161 but I can't find one on ebay.

Does anyone have any other pointers for finding the proper stem for this?

Thanks for any help.

Be sure to not cut the replacement stem too close to the case for this movement. The quickset date adjustment is done by pushing the stem in towards the case from the normal winding position, so you can’t have a nice flush crown as you would try to end up with on other watches.
