Hello all of You,

I'm on holiday in England at the moment and the person who is offering accommodation to me has asked me to help him identify a watch that his wife has been offered a long time ago. I managed to open the watch but I don't dare to remove any part to identify it as it isn't mine ans it is really tiny. Could someone help? Here are a few pictures.

Using the serial number on the movement, the watch was made in 1954. The closest match to the movement I was able to find is this one on eBay, although it is not an exact match due to the shock protection and the size of the screws. The serial number of the eBay movement gives 1959 as the production date, so your movement is most likely a predecessor to the eBay one. Identifying an exact model would probably be impossible, short of contacting Tissot themselves. Hopefully this helps!
