Hey, I have a Holzkern wooden watch, and it is losing some of the numbers off the dial. I opened the case...but it has an inner case that connects the movement, dial, and crystal. How do I get this thing open?! The blue metal all seems to be one piece...but obviously someone put it together in the first place. I took it to a jeweler who had no clue. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I never would have found that German article. I don't think a blade can separate the case, the other suggests air pressure. I'll try, and see! Thanks for the fast replies.

Air pressure will blast off the case back if it is not a screwed on type.

I would try using a strong double sided sticky tape on the crystal (or even super glue). A new crystal is cheap if it happens to break.
