Bulova Comutron setting.

When I set the watch it works fine giving me the time with the first push and the date with the second push but after only a few minutes when I push the pusher I get the date only.  No time.  Every time I reset the time and date it gives me time and date at first and after a few minutes its back to just giving me the date.  What am I doing wrong?

May be not You, but the watch is wrong... Doed the date advance? I mean does it change after 24 hours?

Yes the month and day changed last night.  Batteries are good and placed correctly.
