Citizen C022 circuit board question.

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have absolutely no idea about quartz watch circuits and will really appreciate any help. I have a vintage Citizen Aqualand C022. It works - analog time is very accurate, digital functions work well, but it always shows flashing ":" symbol which means low battery warning (with brand new batteries). There's a reset procedure for this model, so after reset the low battery warning will not flash for exactly one minute. Watch starts at 12:00 after reset and when it changes to 12:01 low battery indicator starts again. When I looked at the circuit board I can see it was repaired before... One side of the board looks ok. But the other side shows some soldering that is maybe not done correctly or something like that... Any advice is greatly appreciated.
