Hi,

I'm trying to put back an Oris 654Kif watch. I already did most of the movement, but unfortunately, it's my first date wheel and I can't remember how it was assembled.

I'm left with the date wheel, plate and a spring and I can't seem to find a place where I can screw on the spring.

I have the datasheet for the movement but it doesn't show the assemble, only a part list.

Here's what it looks like:

I'd appreciate any help with that.

Thanks a lot!

A little poking around on eBay yielded this:

And from the video that @HectorLooi posted, we can see that it looks like one of the holes in the spring has a screw and the other maybe lets a screw from the outside ring pass through it:

So I'd start trying to match up the holes in that area and see if anything works. Keep us posted!

Thanks a lot!

I experimented and ended up finding where to screw it. The holding ring has a part that is thinner to accommodate the jumper.

My jumper has a slightly different shape than the one from the picture but its the same idea.

The hole in the middle is to let the dial feet pass.

Unfortunately, the hammer of the date jumper doesn't touch the date disk if I assemble it like this. It's a couple of millimeters short. I'm probably missing something self-evident here.
