Hi All, need some help. I am new to this hobby and one of my purchases to practice on is a Caravelle Pocket Watch. It’s slim and I am trying to figure out how to open the case. There doesn’t seem to be a groove deep enough for a Bergeon knife. A google and YouTube search produced one response from 2010 suggesting there is a lip on the caseback, but this one doesn’t have it. See pics. Any suggestions?

I am a bit late to this post and you probably got it opened. There is a seam that runs around the edge of the case. At about the 1 o'clock edge of the case there should be a cutaway where it can be opened.

Yours has the bow which is often missing. There is usually a wristwatch 11DP 7 jewel movement inside.
