Sapphire crystal sizing. 27.5mm or 28mm to fit original 27.8mm?

I want to replace a crystal on a Citizen Eco-drive with a sapphire crystal.  The original crystal measures 27.8mm.  I found sapphire crystals in 27.5mm or 28mm.  Which size should I order?  Or will neither size fit?  Thanks.

You should use the original size. There should be a white crystal gasket too. Check to see if the gasket is ok.

Cousins has sapphire crystals in 0.1mm increments. They have 27.8mm crystals.
