Best way to remove stuck crystal

Hi guys, I have a Wakmann Regatte I am trying to remove the crystal from and would like the best way to do so without damaging it. The watch has an inner rotating bezel, then the crystal goes on top with a chapter ring in between (no tension ring). The crystal on this one is stuck, and I know that these crystals are impossible to find so I need to figure out the best way to remove it without causing damage. I was thinking to heat the case up and try pushing it out. I don't want to use a crystal press to push it out because I see that there are small cracks in the crystal so I am worried that using the press will cause further damage. If anyone has any ideas on how best to proceed, it would be highly appreciated.

In case anyone comes across this and is wondering, I managed to get the crystal off safely by blowing it out with an air duster (after closing the case first).
