Nige
Had a nice bit of luck this week, saw this watch, the one on left with yellow dial on the bonklip strap which is now on my revue ATP.it was buy it now as none working for £9.99 ,as these straps are so expensive these days I snapped it up ,and luckily it's just the click spring on the watch so should be an easy fix ,and a new crystal,
WillFly
I like Bonklip straps - I have a Marvin version of one on my Marvin 520. Very comfortable.
Nige
Hi Will,I did read that they were first used by the RAF as the long strap could be worn over Irvin flight jackets so the pilots would not have to remove there gloves in the cold cockpit, also they can be attached with one hand,a guy called Dudley Howitt patented it in 1930, but it was not noticed by the MOD till ww2. WillFly
Yes - RAF personnel were some of the first people to use bonklips, as far as I know, for the very reasons that you give.
bobm12
I love them too, I wonder if they have any (-) considering all the (+)....any thoughts? Cheers, Bob PS. I'll clarify if it is too cryptic....:)
