Hi,

I have just bought a vintage pocket watch (not working) to work on my repair skills (or lack off).

On initial inspection it is the hairspring that is damaged on the balance wheel.  I am trying to identify the watch to order a new one but there are no markings on the movement.  I have looked everywhere (taken balance off, bridge, etc).

Was looking for any help with this.  I have the watch maker Deuber, the movement is 40.5mm and side winding (3 o'clock).

thanks

Ok,  well found the answer myself.    Spend hours going through pocket watch movements for sale on ebay with close but no exact match.  So tried previously sold items and found the Criterion 12S 43mm pocket watch movement.

Found a movement for sale with balance in good condition as i needed a replacement hairspring and balance bridge.
