Hello everyone, just joined tonight. Ive always been into watches and have a couple, nothing vintage or valuable but neat battery powered ones I like. Ive recently gotten bit by the mechanical watch repair hobby bug and been binging youtube videos. I also have a pocket watch I found in my attic that my mother bought my father for an anniversary gift in 1980. I would really like to fix it up and get it running and give it to him for christmas. It is a Mejestiime 17 jewels pocket watch. I can not find any other markings on it for a movement model or anything and I have searched. The issue as far as I have figured is the balance hair spring. When I first opened it up it was just a rats nest. I have searched and searched, and I can not figure out how to find a replacement balance, hair spring or donor movement. If anyone had some tips or advice I would really appreciate it.

Pictures are always needed. You need to post back and dial side with the dial removed, mentioning the size. The markings can be there or under the balance, and it can be checked on database like Ranfft.

Sorry for missing that.

I just realized I forgot to take a picture of the balance but it was 11.3mm20211210_190302.thumb.jpg.0022874a0d9eaa5707adddd13bcc08db.jpg20211210_190214.thumb.jpg.139c340ccb35300179ff6db173187de3.jpg20211210_190420.thumb.jpg.fd53eeddee16137900f960de9fde8ba8.jpg20211210_190349.thumb.jpg.70a0666babad2e9ea2825e7e36ab47af.jpg
