Thanks for the tech manual. Although, I can see the clip in the parts explosion, but I see no clip in the watch. Unless I need to pry out the crown-like thing?

I'm guessing the clip got lost and the day wheel was initially stuck and eventually fell as it was released by you trying to manipulate it.

Might be, although I never saw a clip in the first place. It would have been evident, so maybe there was never a clip, and it was indeed suck. Is a 12 years old watch, so things might not be as smooth.
