polishing Longines Titanium watch cases

My Ti vhp case and bracelet are a matte grey. So If the case sides get light surface scratches, can they be polished or rubbed out. The watch and bracelet are very light weight so I'm thinking it is solid titanium and not a Ti coating. Is that correct?

I think it would be ok to polish it. The dial says ti for titanium. It will turn a lighter grey for a few hours/days but then will quickly oxidize back to the normal grey you see now..
