I bought this watch around 1968.  I think it cost a couple of weeks of my wages as an apprentice.  It is an Edox Automatic Kingstar

Had it serviced a couple of years ago and it keeps good time.  Can be wound when it has not been worn for a while, so  no wiggling it around is required to get it going.

On the bottom of the dial is has the writing T SWISS MADE T can anyone tell me if the T is of any significance?

I have this watch on today as I have been away for a couple of days and I was only taking one watch.  I have various bracelets and straps but this one has a Speidel expanding bracelet.  It is always comfortable.  This used to belong to my Dad, he used to use those scissor action expanders.  He was always complaining that they caught the hair on his arm, until he bought this one and he never had reason to complain again.

My other watches will appear as I wear them, should not take long, I only have 4 left to show you.

I just had a look at this post and the picture is not all in view, can anyone tell me why?  The pic is less than 1mb Nigel

There is a speidel.com and the bracelets look pretty much like mine.

I agree with the hard wearing, mine is years old.  As I said really comfortable, beats any of my bracelets or straps.  Not too good if you are being energetic, but I rarely go there these days!

Speidel are smooth on the inside of the wrist like velvet. Both my Bulova's have them fitted and I think they are originals, but so very comfortable. Am currently looking to see what the "T" means.

Well found this;

The letter "T" on the face of a watch stands for tritium, the greenish-white substance on the hands and numbers that glows in the dark. The letter "O" means that the indices on the dial are made of gold.

Hi Craig

Thanks for that.

Following your post, I looked it up myself and found the answer.  Amazing what is out there, no way would I have expected to be able to find that one.
