Nivarox is supposed to be somewhat magnetic resistant.  I have found this to be true.  The down side I have also found is when a Nivarox hairspring becomes magnetized.  It always requires me to remove the hairspring from the balance hold it absolutely stationary in watchmakers paper in order to demagnetize it.   Many times with blue steal I can just hold the balance complete and run it through my demagnetize loop  in watchmakers paper.   If anyone has any way that they demagnetize  Nivarox hairsprings without removal I would be forever grateful.  I understand the principle that the metal must be stationary to jumble the molecules  in order to  demagnetize properly,  but the blue steal springs seem to demagnetize much easier  more ferrous metal perhaps.

Sincerely,
