Valjoux 7751 Question

I just receive my new Valjoux 7751 movement.  A couple of the parts were shipped loose, one of which I cannot identify.

The first is the moon star.  I understand why this is packed separately as there is nothing to hold this onto the movement.

The second piece is a thin washer - maybe a dial spacer?  I can' t find a reference for this in the ETA guide for the 77 series of movements anywhere.  And scouring the internet for 7751 videos (not many) I never see it.

Any ideas?
