I have just come back from a carboot sale with my latest finds, one being a Tissot seastar, It has no battery so I have done the usual Google search but cannot find anything related to battery replacement?

The only numbers are: on the movement 22040 and 2035, on the case 40813.

Does anyone have any idea as to what batteries I need for this very nice looking little watch, it also has 10 microns stamped on the case back, I am asuming this is in relation to the gold plate?

Thanks

Movement is most likely a Tissot 2035. Also called ETA 944.111 . Should be a 381  battery.

Got a new battery but still not working, I tried to get a replacement movement  ETA 944.111, but they are now obsolete, so I manages to find a replacement movement 450.111, however I cannot get the oldmovement out of the case as the face is larger than the case diameter? do I have to remove the crytal, then the hands etc or am I missing something, I can't find a servie manual online for this watch?

Thanks Den
