Hi,

Basically, I am trying to re-align the hands of my watch and I am on the step where I take the movement off from the case. For some reason, the movement won't come out.So far, I still haven't managed to pry it out, even with 2 flat screw drivers prying on each side. I wonder if that metal surrounding the movement can/ should be taken off as I see the dial is wider than that opening?
thanks

Looks like this one comes out through the front. Look for a lip around the side of the bezel and pry it open very carefully then the whole watch should come out.

There is a defined gap all around that bezel - it definitely comes off. To be safe I would recommend using a bezel remover. If you are experienced then using a case knife may work depending on your technique but using a bezel remover would be the way to go here.

If you are unsure then do give it to a local competent watch repairer because the last thing you want to do is damage the dial. I will PM you someone I know in your area.
