Are you trying to simply remove the movement or are you truly wanting to take of the crown and stem? The crown and stem stay in the watch and the movement come out. To get the movement out, the crown is pulled out to the setting position and the case screws that hold the movement to the case are removed. The movement will tilt out of the front when the front bezel is unscrewed.

If you are trying to remove the stem, hold the square end of the stem, once the movement is out, with needle nose pliers and unscrew the crown. You need to use a stem sleeve wrench in order to remove the stem and sleeve.

Hope that helps somewhat.
