I'm a newb who is a bit late to the party here. I've purchased a Horia movement holder clone. And I'm aware that the support pins for the SW500 chronograph jewels can be different sizes.

I purchased 0.8mm pins with the holder. These were all that were available at the time. Will these be the right size?

Can someone shed a little light on this for me please?

you are unlikely to get a response from these members as they haven’t logged in for a few years. I think you will do better starting your own thread, more people will see it.

Looking at the genuine Bergeon holder I expect the 0.8mm will be too big.

Edit

You should be able to check with the pins out of the
holder if they pass through the surround to the jewel.

@Mark Thanks for letting me know. I'll start a new thread.

@AndyGSi Thanks too for that tip. I might be able to turn them down if need be. 🤞

@Mark Sorry, I don't get what you mean by "I've split this into a new topic."?

Mark, means he has made this a separate post, he has split it from the old post. You don't need to start a new thread now.

Exactly.

As Richard says, all good - I helped you by splitting your comment made on an old topic into a new topic of your own in order to help with clarity 🙂

Welcome to the forum by the way 👍
