On a side note, I always leave the canon pinion on to help protect the seconds hand pinion, it is generally the last part I remove when dismantling a movement

I was watching that one, but noticed quite a few pieces missing. -
It actually looks like one of the earliest versions where it's made out of cast iron in other words it's very heavy. Versus the later generation that was made out of some other material and hollow. I guess you assume they have a standard? C they do have a standard either three or 4 mm. Fortunately I think all the reamers are of one size and that's the most likely thing to break so that won't be an issue.

It does look similar, as far as I can tell it’s German I think probably Hugo Maihak as well. I am really hoping it does fit Seitz. Otherwise I’ve got another project 😂
